Tired of our bourgeois sham democracy? New to DSA and want to learn the basics of our democratic practices? Join Triangle DSA, in partnership with the National Growth & Development Committee, for our Democracy in DSA Training.

We'll start with a discussion of the meaning of democracy and the importance of bylaws, parliamentary procedure, and other rules. We'll then spend the bulk of our time covering the basics of Robert's Rules of Order and giving participants the opportunity to practice using and facilitating with Robert's Rules, so come ready to participate!

This training satisfies the Robert's Rules and Meeting Facilitation requirement for Triangle DSA's Member Leader Program. You can learn more about the program here. If you're interested in becoming a member leader, please fill out the member leader in-take form.

All DSA members are welcome to join this training, regardless of their chapter!
